Current Builders Sponsors 2011 Toy Drive

POMPANO BEACH, FLORIDA - October 17, 2011 - For the sixth year in a row, Current Builders will sponsor a toy drive to benefit Toys for Tots and America 4R Marines. Current Builders' CEO, Chip Reid, honors his father's years of service in the U.S. Marine Corps with the annual toy drive. "It's important as a company to give back," said Reid. "I'm proud of what my dad did as a decorated war hero in WWII and Korea, and I'm also proud of our employees coming through for the kids each year."

Over the next couple of months, employees and members of the community will donate new bikes, unwrapped new toys and cash that will be used to provide holiday gifts for children that otherwise wouldn't get anything this year. Donations will also support American Marines and Sailors serving in harsh Middle East locations this holiday season.

In previous years, with the help of our employees and community members who have made donations, the Company exceeded its 100-bike goal each year and has been able to donate in excess of $7,000 in additional bikes, games and toys.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys each year for distribution to needy children. American 4R Marines is a volunteer organization that provides much needed supplies to Marine units serving in the most remote and hostile Areas of Operations in the Middle East.

Donations for America 4R Marines will be accepted through November 1, 2011, and Toys for Tots donations will be accepted through December 9, 2011. On December 10, Marines will visit Current Builders to pick up the bikes and other donations - members of the press are welcome to attend. Once again, our goal is to donate 100 bikes.
